Poverty in the streets

We see them every day
They even forgot how to play
They just sit there on the street
And beg for something to eat
But we just pass them without hesitation
Not even giving a little donation
They don’t even have no home
But we still leave them all alone

It’s not fair, it can’t be right
We just pass them by our sight
They never did anything wrong
But still get the blame for singing a little song

People look and stare at them
As if it’s their fault
Just because they sit on the street
And suffer to survive
When can they finally see
That it’s not their fault
And see that they need to help
When can this finally stop?
