“Water remembers what stone forgets…
It flows through time, and buries regret.”
[Verse 1 – Melodic]
Past the glacier’s edge, beyond Lake Fjalding’s cry,
Where the chill cuts deep and the brave men die.
South of the Castle, west of the mine,
Where the River Hirsta snakes and winds.
The Stone sleeps beneath a shivering stream,
Guarded by whispers, half-lost in dream.
It shifts like thought, it pulls like shame,
It knows your soul, and speaks your name.

Stone of Water, drowned and old —
Mirror of truth, and secrets untold.

I rose from depths that steal the breath,
Past tombs of yore and silent death.
Near Gyldenhul’s sunken curse I tread,
Where pirates slumber with eyes of dread.
But the Stone awaits by glassy shore,
A pillar veined in myths of yore.
I touch its runes, and water bends,
The trial fades — the soul ascends.
