Joser strums his old guitar, by the glow of a barroom light,
With a bottle of rum in his hand, he says, "I'll be alright."
Fingers dancing on the strings, a sad tune he tries to hide,
But the pain seeps through the chords, like tears he's never cried.

He met a girl last Sunday, her smile as bright as day,
Swore she’d be the one for him, but love slipped away.
Now he's back to that corner stool, where shadows tend to stay,
Playing songs of broken hearts, that night won't take away.
