Conversatiom with myself

Is this real… or just something in my head?”
I ask the silence I keep lying in bed.

“Because someone like her… how could she be mine?”
“Not everything in life needs reason or sign.”

“When she smiles, the whole world fades away…”
“Then maybe that’s the only real thing today.”

“But I’m not enough… I’m just ordinary, I guess.”
“Yet she looks at you like you’re something blessed.”

“And if one day she realizes the truth?”
“She already knows you—she’s chosen you too.”

“It feels too perfect… too soft, too bright.”
“Maybe love is just learning to stand in the light.”

“I’m scared I’ll wake up and she won’t be here…”
“Then love her so deeply, she’ll always appear.”

“I still can’t believe she stayed with me…”
“Some miracles don’t ask to be seen—they just be.”

“…So what am I supposed to do with this feeling inside?”
“Stop questioning love, and let it be your guide.”

And I finally whisper, no doubt in my tone:
“If she’s my dream… I don’t want to wake up alone.”
