I see the world, I hear its sound,
This gentle truth I have found.
I know that I belong right here,
A place I love, I hold it dear.

I understand you mean no harm,
It seems you own a certain charm.
I recognize that look you wear,
It shows me that you truly care.

I remember what you said that day,
And doubt has slowly slipped away.
I believe your words, I think they're true,
This lovely view I owe to you.

I prefer this calm, I like this peace,
Where all my worries cease.
I hate to be a source of pain,
I hope to see the sun again.

This house contains our memories,
It costs a lot of tears and pleas.
That box holds things we need to keep,
While promises we fail to meet.

You appear quite sad, you look so tired,
By many thoughts you are inspired.
You wish for more, you want to feel,
A future perfect, strong, and real.

I desire only what is true,
To be myself, here next to you.
I value what we have right now,
To that dear thought I swear a vow.

I realize this might depend
On how our broken hearts will mend.
This matters more than I can say,
I promise you I'll find a way.

For I adore the soul you are,
My bright and beloved, guiding star.
This world consists of joy and strife,
But you are the state of my whole life
