Solitary

I'm lying here all alone,
It's late at night when I'm on my own,
Everyone's sleeping, I'm the only one awake,
Moving slowly, not a rush to make.

I'm just a lonely creature of the night,
My life moves at a slow pace, out of sight,
I'm just a sloth, just floating through time,
A nighttime wanderer, no one to confine.
