The first kiss

The long-nosed, narrow-oval, pale faces,
the indefinable knowing smile and the
strange glasses.
Since I was 10 years old, I have adored these girls.
One such girl kissed me on the mouth for the first time during a game of hide and seek at a birthday party.
The first kiss of my life!
Fortunately, I never recovered from that kiss,
and I still believe today that long-nosed girls
who kiss shy boys on the mouth at family gatherings
will never be interested in a roast pork.
