Bright Light

That was strange
As if it were yesterday
I lie down to read a little
I see light hovering above me
It's getting really creepy
That can't be!
This shadow shows me
A bright light

Is that a sign
From whom could it be?
Does my brain now
Want to be my magician?
I've got a fly swatter
Right nearby
I swat at the light and
hit my toes

Laughing from the darkness
My sister shouts loudly:
‘You just want to see our stupid
face’
I'll get my revenge
I've got time and patience
Then I'll get started
In the dead of night

Two o'clock in the morning
Deep sleep
I'm really
Ready for anything
Let the tape run
With the creepy sounds
Horrific screams
Terrible moans

My sister wakes up
Pale as death
Staring into the dark
OHO Shortness of breath!!!
I laugh out loud
She realises what's happening
And hits me right
On my beautiful nose
