Champions

Sienna on the field, with fire in her stride,
Chasing every chance, never shying aside.
She dribbled with grace, each movement precise,
Her passion and spirit, a flame on the rise.
The score was against them, they fought until the end,
Two goals down, yet they would not bend.
Sienna struck once, with a fierce, perfect shot,
But the whistle blew, and the win was not caught.
A loss of two to one, the scoreboard read clear,
But Sienna’s resolve was stronger than fear.
She held her head high, her eyes on the dream,
“Better luck next year, we’ll come back as a team.”
For champions are made in the heart and the mind,
In the strength to get up, to leave loss behind.
