Your Hand in the Storm

[Verse 1]
The church laid hands and sent us on our way,
With a prayer for every mile and every day.
We packed our faith beside the bread and coat,
And carried every promise that You spoke.

[Pre-Chorus]
Then the road grew rough beneath our feet,
And the rain came hard against the fields of wheat.
Still Your quiet word kept calling us along:
You are not alone; be brave and strong.

[Chorus]
By Your strength we will stand, by Your grace we will go,
Through the wind and the waters, wherever they blow.
When the trials rise up and the road disappears,
You are holding this family, steadying our fears.
By Your strength we will serve, by Your love we’ll endure,
Your hand in the storm is our shelter secure.

[Verse 2]
Some doors were closed, some voices turned away,
Some nights we wondered if we’d see the day.
But every seed we planted in the dust
Was held within the keeping of Your trust.

[Pre-Chorus]
When the trouble pressed and hope felt small,
You gave us bread and courage through it all.
Your quiet word kept calling us along:
You are not alone; be brave and strong.

[Chorus]
By Your strength we will stand, by Your grace we will go,
Through the wind and the waters, wherever they blow.
When the trials rise up and the road disappears,
You are holding this family, steadying our fears.
By Your strength we will serve, by Your love we’ll endure,
Your hand in the storm is our shelter secure.

[Bridge]
If we are weary, You renew our feet.
If we are scattered, You make our courage meet.
If they oppose us, still Your truth remains;
Your mercy runs deeper than the hardest rains.

[Final Chorus]
By Your strength we will stand, by Your grace we will go,
Through the wind and the waters, wherever they blow.
When the trials rise up and the road disappears,
You are holding this family, steadying our fears.
By Your strength we will serve, by Your love we’ll endure,
Your hand in the storm is our shelter secure.

[Outro]
Sent by the church, but never on our own,
Your strength will lead us till the harvest home.
