A is for Albatross, gliding through the sky,
Wings spread wide, flying oh so high.

B is for Bluebird, singing bright and sweet,
Dancing in the garden with tiny, happy feet.

C is for Crow, clever and bold,
Finding shiny treasures, silver and gold.

D is for Dove, gentle and white,
Bringing peace feathers, soft and light.

E is for Eagle, soaring so grand,
King of the mountains, ruler of the land.

F is for Finch, chirping all day,
Jumping on branches, happy and gay.

G is for Goose, marching in a line,
Flapping its wings — honk, honk, fine!

H is for Hawk, eyes so keen,
Spying the fields, sharp and clean.

I is for Ibis, long and red,
Wading through water, lifting its head.

J is for Jay, with feathers so blue,
Calling its friends, “Where are you?”

K is for Kiwi, fuzzy and shy,
Can’t really fly, but gives it a try!

L is for Lark, at sunrise it sings,
Greeting the morning with fluttering wings.

M is for Macaw, rainbow so bright,
Colors that sparkle in jungle light.

N is for Nightingale, voice so fair,
Singing soft songs that float in the air.

O is for Owl, wise in the night,
Blinking its eyes in the pale moonlight.

P is for Parrot, clever and loud,
Repeating your words — oh, so proud!

Q is for Quail, quick and small,
Running through bushes, don’t trip and fall!

R is for Robin, red on its chest,
Building a nest, giving its best.

S is for Swan, graceful and white,
Gliding on water, pure delight.

T is for Toucan, big bright beak,
Eating sweet fruit, cheek to cheek!

U is for Umbrellabird, fancy and rare,
Feathers like umbrellas flair in the air.

V is for Vulture, circling high,
Gliding on thermals in the wide blue sky.

W is for Woodpecker, tap-tap-tap,
Knocking on trees for a juicy snack!

X is for Xeme, a gull so neat,
Flying by the ice where cold winds meet.

Y is for Yellowhammer, bright and gay,
Singing “a little bit of bread and no cheese” all day.

Z is for Zebra Finch, tiny and fast,
Singing in flocks from first to last!
