Echoes of Blood and Glory

Steel glints under the iron sky,
The Valkyries sing, the roar is high,
Warriors align in the chilly dawn,
With the valor of ancient gods they’ve drawn.
Shields rise up, drums beat loud,
On fields of ice, swords are proud,
The wind carries the battle cry,
As the sun hides in the sky.
Odin’s knights march with rage,
On the battlefield, death is the wage,
The searing breath of the dragon’s flame,
Bids farewell to souls, destiny’s claim.
The gods watch from their thrones of might,
As men fight their final fight,
Between steel and fury, honor unfolds,
On bloodied fields, destiny molds.
The battle calms, silence is grim,
On the land covered in fatal crimson,
Fallen heroes, their stories alive,
In battle’s echoes, their souls will thrive.
With nightfall, the legacy rises,
In battle’s memory, the past revises,
Songs sung by the wind will carry on,
Norse legends that time will not wrong.
