Rhythm of the Gathering

Playful African-inspired percussion instrumental, interlocking hand-played bongo patterns and low hide drums, wooden slit-drum pulses, seed shakers and clacking sticks, lively call-and-response rhythms, occasional earthy animal-like vocalizations and breathy flutes suggesting a prehistoric gathering, buoyant syncopated groove, organic room ambience, raw lively ensemble recording with clear percussion layers and a warm low end.
