Catching the Light

[Verse 1]
Walking down the avenue, the sun is getting low
You caught me looking back at you, a look I used to know
We didn't say a single word, but everything was clear
A quiet hum, a sudden spark, a feeling drawing near

[Chorus]
Oh, we're catching the light, running away into the night
No more waiting on a sign, let's leave the world behind
We're catching the light, everything is feeling so right
Hand in hand, we make our way, turning dark to day

[Verse 2]
The city sounds begin to fade, the music starts to rise
A perfect rhythm in the air, reflected in your eyes
Every step is effortless, we're floating off the ground
A simple moment made of gold, the sweetest thing we found

[Chorus]
Oh, we're catching the light, running away into the night
No more waiting on a sign, let's leave the world behind
We're catching the light, everything is feeling so right
Hand in hand, we make our way, turning dark to day

[Outro]
Just catching the light
Yeah, we're catching the light
Turning dark to day
We're catching the light
