MAKE THE DARK DANCE

Lyrics
[Extended Instrumental Intro]
[Verse 1 – Female]
Black silk sky above us
Low lights on your face
I can feel the room change
When the drums begin to wake
[Verse 1 – Male]
Shadows start to shimmer
The walls begin to breathe
There’s a pulse beneath the silence
Pulling you and me
[Pre-Chorus – Female]
Leave the light outside
[Male]
Let the night come through
[Female]
When the bassline calls
[Male]
I’ll answer with you
[Chorus – Duet]
Make the dark dance
Make the dark dance
Turn the shadows loose
Let the rhythm take a chance
Make the dark dance
Make the dark dance
When the low end rolls
We become the trance
[Instrumental Drop]
[Verse 2 – Male]
Smoke above the speakers
Gold along the floor
Every step unlocks
A little something more
[Verse 2 – Female]
No need for a reason
No need to explain
Let the drums surround us
Let them say our names
[Pre-Chorus – Male]
Leave the light outside
[Female]
Let the night come through
[Male]
When the bassline calls
[Female]
I’ll answer with you
[Chorus – Duet]
Make the dark dance
Make the dark dance
Turn the shadows loose
Let the rhythm take a chance
Make the dark dance
Make the dark dance
When the low end rolls
We become the trance
[Breakdown – Duet]
(Female) In the low light
(Male) In the deep sound
(Female) Feel the night rise
(Male) Feel it all around
[Build – Duet]
One drum
One breath
One spark
No rest
[Final Chorus – Duet]
Make the dark dance
Make the dark dance
Turn the shadows loose
Let the rhythm take a chance
Make the dark dance
Make the dark dance
When the low end rolls
We become the trance
[Outro Chant]
Make the dark dance
Make the dark dance
We become the trance

Style of Music
Hypnotic Afro Organic House × Melodic Deep House, 124 BPM. Deep rolling bass, warm four-on-the-floor kick, intricate hand percussion, shakers, low toms, subtle plucked strings and shadowy cinematic synths. Sensual female lead vocals and a rich male response, alternating throughout and joining for a memorable, chant-like chorus; no female solo. Mysterious late-night atmosphere that gradually opens into a powerful, uplifting dancefloor groove. Sophisticated and emotional, with an original melodic hook, organic textures and a strong bass-led drop. No pop-house clichés, no huge festival EDM drop. Extended DJ intro, spacious breakdown, layered build and long mixable outro.
