NATURE IS THE MEASURE (Delta FAI)
We call it protection —
as if life needed permission.
As if nature were separate,
fragile, negotiable.
We measure it,
name it,
frame it —
and claim we understand.
Because it speaks no language
we designed,
because it builds no cities
of steel and light,
we deny its mind.
We turn it into resource.
Into background.
Into fuel
for human ambition.
We crowned ourselves
the center of existence,
the summit of evolution —
as if evolution had a throne.
As if intelligence
could only wear our face.
Nature does not rush.
