TRAIN OF DEATH

The train thunders along, its funnel vomits smoke,
Our lives turned into ash along with all our hope,
The cold air makes me shiver, dawns with icy bites,
the icy bite of nights, I tremble from my frights.
In a raging frenzied world life is dying out,
Hearts bereft of warmness, perhaps they all gave out.
Nothing’s beating in this world, none that I can hear,
The beating of a human heart as death is drawing near.
Life is on its deathbed, hearts are iced up black,
The train of death thunders along its predetermined track.
The crossing gate’s wide open, all clear on death road,
This train is a runaway, destination: void.
Principles of Gaia, they all have turned to dust,
All of her commandments, that grand life-craving lust.
How Beauty was once praised no one can now recall,
The dance of Malice now weaves haunting tales of ill.
Look at what we’ve all become, clouded is our mind,
Gazing skyward no more where wonders are divined.
Bathing in a quagmire, we’re just Sin and bones,
Souls withering away by airs of toxic pools.
Stop stoking, close that throttle, put the brakes on, man!
Halt before you reach your dead-end destination.
Hold back that iron horse of death, rein it in now,
Ere the rush should make you reap the death that you sow.
