An Agent

I have mastered the art of discretion
I kill without emotion, but shortly afterwards I have to yawn
Yawning at extremes is part of the discipline
Afterwards, I like to go to the opera in Vienna
Why, what about an agent doing that?
Ha! Visiting the opera is an agent's duty
You meet them all there, with their wives and escorts
I know them all, with the date and the murder
They don't recognise me, I look like a ‘grey mouse’
If they do spot me, it's all over
I can't recommend this job to my son
He wants to go to the tax office and count tax money
I'll only do a few more years and then that's it!
For the sake of my people and my beloved mouse
It's a shame, I'd like to read my memory
Strictly forbidden, it wouldn't survive
I don't plan at all, the job is risky
Maybe with my wife to a sunny country
