Spiky little explorer
Who’s not afraid at all.

Dozing in a tree—

Laughing as he travels

The unicorn of the sea—

Feathers puffed and bold—

Circling high above—
Spreading wide, dark wings
In the sky he loves.

W is for Whale,
Singing ocean songs—
Notes that echo far and wide
Rolling deep and long.

X is for Xerus,
A squirrel of the sun—
Scurrying in the desert
Always on the run.

Y is for Yak,
Hairy, tall, and strong—
Trekking snowy mountains
