coming home

Coming back, I’ve been gone too long,
Hit the road, but now I know where I belong,
Left behind the pain, now I’m standing strong,
Made mistakes, but I’m owning up, moving on.
The past was heavy, but I’m letting go,
Rain washed it away, now I’m starting to glow,
Find my way, like the sun after snow,
I’m coming home, letting everybody know.
