This is a lamp, turn it on,
Soft light stays till night is gone,

Warm light makes it right.

This is a cabinet, doors closed tight,
Open up, see inside,
Kitchen cabinet, bedroom too,
Plates and clothes in view.

This is a closet, open wide,
Shirts and shoes inside,
Big closet, small one there,
Clothes hang neat with care.

This is a drawer, pull it slow,
Open, close, back it goes,
Top drawer, bottom too,
Socks and keys in view.

This is a mirror on the wall,
I look once, that is all,
Big mirror, small mirror clear,
I see myself right here.

This is a rug on the floor,
Soft to step on, more and more,
Small rug, big rug too,
Warm and nice, good view.

This is a bench, sit a bit,
Short rest, then I quit,
Wooden bench by the door,
Shoes go on, then out once more.

This is a nightstand by the bed,
Phone and book, what I said,
Small table, right beside,
Nightstand stays by my side.

This is a TV stand, low and long,
TV sits there, nice and strong,
Stand is clean, screen is bright,
Movie time feels right.

This is a stool, small and round,
Easy move it all around,
Kitchen stool, bar stool too,
Sit up high, simple view.

This is a dresser, tall and wide,
Clothes inside, side by side,
Open drawer, close it tight,
Morning starts, clothes in sight.

This is a couch, same as sofa,
Sit with friends, talk it over,
Soft couch, comfy feel,
Sit and rest, calm and real.

Furniture here, furniture there,
Every room has what we share,
Chair and table, bed and light,
Furniture makes home feel right.
