This is my house, this is my home,
I live here now, I’m not alone,
I open the door, I walk inside,
I feel safe here, warm inside.
The living room feels nice and bright,
I sit on the sofa every night,
The TV’s on, the lights are low,
I rest at home, I take it slow.
The kitchen’s clean, I cook my meal,
I cut the food, I stir and feel,
The table’s set, the plates are white,
I eat at home, it feels just right.
The bedroom’s calm, the bed is soft,
I sleep at night, I wake up,
The window’s open, air is cool,
My room is quiet, calm and cool.
The bathroom’s small, but nice and clean,
I wash my hands, I brush my teeth,
The shower’s warm, the mirror’s clear,
I start the day, I’m ready here.
I walk the hall from room to room,
The floor is clean, there’s lots of room,
I turn the light on, then off again,
I know my house, again and again.
There’s a chair here, a table there,
A lamp at night, soft light to share,
A desk to work, a shelf for books,
My little space, the way it looks.
The door is closed, the door is open,
I lock it tight when night is broken,
The key is here, the lock is fine,
This place is mine, this place is mine.
The floor is brown, the walls are white,
The room looks good in morning light,
The ceiling’s high, the window wide,
I like my home, I like the vibe.
I clean the room, I sweep the floor,
I take the trash out the door,
I make my bed, I keep it neat,
My home feels good, clean and sweet.
I sit at home, I stay inside,
Or go outside, then back inside,
I come back home at end of day,
My house waits there, the same old way.
This is my house, this is my place,
Familiar rooms, a friendly space,
From door to room, from room to room,
My home is where I like to be.
