AtoZ poem

A for Alligator, snappy and sly,
Swims in the river, winks his eye.
B for Bear, so big and brown,
Dancing and tumbling all around town.
C for Cat, with whiskers neat,
Purring softly, light on her feet.
D for Dog, who loves to play,
Chasing the ball all through the day.
E for Elephant, strong and grand,
Waving his trunk across the land.
F for Fox, in the forest deep,
Sneaky and smart when others sleep.
G for Giraffe, so tall and sweet,
Munching the leaves that others can’t reach.
H for Horse, who runs so free,
Galloping fast by the big oak tree.
I for Iguana, green and small,
Climbing the vines along the wall.
J for Jaguar, spotted and sleek,
Silent paws and a jungle sneak.
K for Kangaroo, hop, hop, hop!
Over the hills she’ll never stop.
L for Lion, roaring loud,
King of the jungle, brave and proud.
M for Monkey, swinging high,
Laughing loud beneath the sky.
N for Newt, by the pond so still,
Wiggling tail with a happy thrill.
O for Owl, who hoots at night,
Glowing eyes in the pale moonlight.
P for Penguin, black and white,
Sliding on ice — what a sight!
Q for Quail, quick and shy,
Runs through the bushes, blinking an eye.
R for Rabbit, soft and small,
Nibbling carrots beside the wall.
S for Snake, long and thin,
Slithers around with a cheeky grin.
T for Tiger, fierce and bright,
Orange and black, a wondrous sight!
U for Unicorn, shining white,
Dreamy hooves and a tail of light.
V for Vulture, flying high,
Circling wide in the endless sky.
W for Whale, deep and blue,
Singing songs in the ocean too.
X for X-ray Fish, glowing clear,
See-through fins that sparkle near.
Y for Yak, with shaggy hair,
Living on mountains with chilly air.
Z for Zebra, stripe by stripe,
Ending our rhyme with a happy type!
