Tassie Devils (The Locker Room Anthem)
v4

Letra
[Intro - booming brass fanfare, heavy marching drum roll]
Oi! Oi! Oi!
[Verse 1 - fast marching tempo, guys and girls trading lines]
From the apple isle we come, with a screech and a growl,
Lads and ladies side by side, and we're out on the prowl!
Dressed in black from head to toe, paddles in the air,
Hear us coming down the hall, and you'd better beware!
[Pre-Chorus - accordion building]
Hear the screech! (Screech!)
Hear the roar! (Roar!)
Stomp your feet on the floor!
One, two, three, four!
[Chorus - roaring mixed choir, maximum energy]
We're the Tasmanian Devils, dressed in black from head to toe!
Boys and girls together, and we're ready to go!
With a smash! And a crash! And a scream into the night,
Tasmanian Devils, we bite, bite, bite!
[Verse 2 - driving pub-rock rhythm]
Old mate tried a third-shot drop, we whacked it at his head,
Missed the kitchen completely, hit the fence instead!
But we don't care, we'll have a beer, the scoreboard's looking grim,
If we can't win the bloody match, we'll win the after-party hymn!
[Chorus - roaring mixed choir]
We're the Tasmanian Devils, dressed in black from head to toe!
Boys and girls together, and we're ready to go!
With a smash! And a crash! And a scream into the night,
Tasmanian Devils, we bite, bite, bite!
[Roll Call - marching beat, everyone roars DEVILS!]
Samer! Ashley! Brigitte! (DEVILS!)
Clay! Connor! Connor! (DEVILS!)
Danae! Ellen! Ilene! (DEVILS!)
Jacob! Janet! Marty! (DEVILS!)
Maryanne! Matt! Raymond! (DEVILS!)
Roger! Thomas! Tim! (DEVILS!)
Victoria! Let's go! (DEVILS!)
[Final Chorus - key change, full brass, everyone screaming]
We're the Tasmanian Devils, dressed in black from head to toe!
Boys and girls together, and we're ready to go!
With a smash! And a crash! And a scream into the night,
Tasmanian Devils, we bite, bite, bite!
[Outro - music stops, massive a cappella locker-room chant, thumping feet]
Tasmanian! (Devils!)
Paint it black! (Black!)
On attack! (Attack!)
Tassie Devils... OI, OI, OI!
[Big final brass chord, crowd cheers]
