FROM CITY TO COUNTRY

Well now, we just pulled up stakes to live in the country.
Well, from the big city to live out here in the country.

Brought my old man, my ma, my sweet beautiful little wife,
and our two young'uns with me. All knowing to use a knife.

We're fixin' to start us a dairy farm, raise some cattle. To see ground.
We'll have dogs, cats, turkeys, chickens and geese runnin' around.

Got some fine thoroughbred horses and some good old Ford trucks.
We're just lookin' to live in peace with some good neighbors. And ducks.

We'll have ourselves many a shindig with music, acoustic guitar and harmonica
food, and plenty to drink for everyone. Dancing listening guitar and harmonica.

Praise the Lord, we made our money workin' hard, we’re so happy,
coming from the big city. And now, in the country, we're lookin' to be happy
as a pig in mud right here in the boondocks." As well we’ll be happy.

We will move the herd to the north pasture, looking for green grass, new pasture.
When the soil is very dry for raining together we will pray tomorrow or today.
To walk the talk we will step up to make our adventure a success up and up
