Once I dared looking for my homeland,
fitting entirely in the heart of my band.
A good boy, in a school group. I was a dreamer.
Singing the national anthem. A singer and screamer.
I never found my country whole again in my chords.
It was distributed in strange hands, beyond frontiers, abroad.
Politicians, biting pieces, ate it as a cake.
Laughing, hypocrites, bandits, destroying my fate.
I wanted the giant again, in its nature itself.
As said the hymn, teaching ourself.
I got lost in my feelings about goodness or badness.
Alone claiming for a future in the middle of madness.
Where did my homeland go with these bad people?
Who hid it from me? These pitiless coward people?
They even stole my hope. Now we are homeless.
I wander through an ownerless homeland in stress.
At my side only my love and my guitar.
That is enough to get around, so far.
You are my strength, wealth, home and fate.
