Funky Frog

Well I was chillin' by the lily pad,
When I saw that frog, lookin' mighty rad.
He had shades on his eyes, and a swing in his stride,
Jumpin’ pond to pond with a whole lotta pride.

(He’s the funky frog, yeah he’s on the move,
Got a ribbit rhythm and a rockin’ groove.
He winks at the ladies, they swoon and sigh,
Livin’ large under that southern sky.

He don’t need no crown, he’s already king,
With a velvet croak and a golden ring.
He’s got charm in his leap, and sass in his smile,
He’ll kiss your hand and stay a while.

From the bayou to the boulevard,
He’s breakin’ hearts and playin’ cards.
With a twist of his hips and a jump so high,
He’s the flyest frog, no need to try.

He’s the funky frog, yeah he’s on the move,

So if you hear a splash and a croon so sweet,
You know Funky Frog’s got happy feet.
