OUR BALCONY

The flower stems caress us.
Their perfumes intoxicate us.
Soul music in the air for us.

From here we see the sun rising and moonrise.
Sun and moon, guidance for mankind as eyes.
In the sky eternally guise, no lies. Beauty implies.

They sprout from the sea and wander overhead
with their trail of light, adorning us, being alive or dead.

The sky and the sea are canvas for painting.
Helping the imagination are the stars, beauty gaining
in their constant enchantment, a toast sustaining.

On our balcony, the flowers are wandering
through the imagination, pretending they are also human beings.
And beauty to those who arrive they are revealing.
They are solemn, exuding decoration, so self being.

Girl orchids sway, the flowery group guiding.
Kind of parade of colorful float for the visitors arriving.
All of them enchanted, to stay with us wanting
to also live here to see Copacabana living,
from above, from our balcony, they keep wanting.

Our balcony is a castle built step by step
by the fairy hands of my wife, each detail collected.
And she is within the whole beauty the most let.

She is the complement of our flower-filled balcony.
Revealing beauty and kindness everywhere, kind of alchemy.
Where we find ourselves most in each other in sensuality.
