This is my head, this is my face,
I look around, I know my place,
My hair is short, my hair is long,
I feel okay, nothing wrong.
These are my eyes, I see you there,
These are my ears, I hear the air,
This is my nose, I smell the day,
This is my mouth, I speak this way.
These are my lips, I smile wide,
These are my teeth, white inside,
This is my tongue, I taste the food,
Sweet or salty, feels so good.
This is my neck, I turn around,
This is my head, up and down,
These are my shoulders, left and right,
I move them easy, feels all right.
This is my chest, rise and fall,
This is my back, straight and tall,
This is my body, here I stand,
I feel strong now, as planned.
These are my arms, I lift them high,
These are my elbows, bend and try,
These are my hands, open, close,
I touch the world, that’s how it goes.
These are my fingers, one to five,
They help me work, they help me drive,
This is my thumb, short and strong,
Hands move fast all day long.
This is my stomach, in the middle,
I feel hungry, little by little,
This is my waist, turn and twist,
Move it once, don’t miss.
These are my hips, left and right,
I walk around, step by step light,
These are my legs, long and strong,
They take me places all day long.
These are my knees, bend and go,
Up and down, fast or slow,
These are my feet, on the ground,
I stand still, safe and sound.
These are my toes, small and neat,
Inside my shoes, on my feet,
I walk, I run, I stop, I stay,
My body moves in every way.
I close my eyes, I open wide,
I turn my head from side to side,
I raise my hand, I touch my face,
My body works at its own pace.
My body’s here, my body’s mine,
Every part works all the time,
Head to toe, I know it well,
Body parts, I can tell.
